NB! Paint required numbers are only estimates. Things that can affect these:

- what colors you're choosing
- how many coats you need
- what quality paint you're buying

This calculator assumes that a smooth paint covers 350 square feet per gallon and a textured paint covers 300 square feet per gallon. Check the can to make sure the brand you're buying will cover that much or else you'll need to increase the number of gallons accordingly.
