Grid Ceilings

Grid ceilings are the perfect solution for any business or home owner that wants and likes a clean cut looking ceiling with only minor building works, but also wants the space above the ceiling to be easily accessible for repair and other works. Grid ceilings are usually installed when a building is being built and almost ready, although installing grid ceilings into an existing structure and finished home is also easily done. These ceilings have many variations from acoustic ceilings to plain panels to meet the preferences and needs of customers.

It is important to have the grid ceiling fitted in properly and exactly right, because when there are any mistakes installing it there will be problems for the owners afterwards. It is very important that the owner of the grid ceiling is able to work freely with television wiring, outlets, pipes, computer wires, tubes, and all other unsightly combinations that are located just out of view and covered with the grid ceiling after it is installed.

Therefore, all kinds of grid ceilings are an easy solution when the ceilings in your home are rugged, uneven or just not beautiful to look at and you want to change something. So make your home look nicer easily and just use grid ceilings.

Our basement is approximately 2500 sq. ft. in a newly contructed house. We are comptemplating a drop ceiling in the basement in which the walls are 9 ft. high. What type of lighting fixtures would you recommend and how many per sq ft?

Thank you

PS: we are now in the process of rough electrical wiring

Should the area under a ceiling of an open exterior porch, 4 ft X 16 ft, have Tyvek installed prior to the final ceiling product?
