Drop Ceiling Installation

The first part of the drop ceiling installation is to plan the whole project carefully and measure all the angles and specialties that the current ceiling has. Also choosing the patter on plates and deciding whether you want to install the patter in a standard or reverse way, after that determine the exact high at which the drop ceiling will be installed and now go to work with the framework.

Now start to hang the suspension wires for main tees. The main tees should always run at right angles to the joists in the room. Locate the first suspension wire for each main tee directly above the point where the first cross tee meets the main tee. Install the main tees so that they all are in the same level with the wall angle mounted.

Insert the cross tees by installing the ends of those tees into the slots in the main tees. Use the manufacturers instructions to do this. After installing all the tees the framework should be ready to have the panels installed. The panels can be put into the correct place by tilting them slightly, lifting abouve the framework and then dropping then so they would fall into the correct place.

This is how the drop ceiling installation works.

How do you mount a ceiling fan to a drop down ceiling when the structure that holds the network together is 20 feet high?

I wish to know the cost of installation on a drop ceiling in a basement. The basement is 2,000 square ft. There are some elevation changes in the ceiling. I would really appreciate it if you could give me information regarding this topic.
