How do ceiling fans warm a room?
When you think of a ceiling fan than usually the first idea that comes into your mind is that it is made for cooling down your home, but actually ceiling fans can also be used for heating purposes. Usually this type of ceiling fans that are used for heating are guided by remote control and basically look like ordinary fans. The idea of how the ceiling fan heats the room is based on the principle that the upper part of the ceiling fan is designed in a way that it emits heat and the blades of the ceiling fan distribute the air all across the room. As the blades keep on moving the air is distributed more evenly than with usual heater where the warm air usually stays near the source of the heat.

With installing a ceiling fan that can not only cool down your home, but also heat it up when it is necessary you will save some money as then you only need one device and not a ceiling fan and a heater separately. So hopefully the working principle of a heating ceiling fan is not clearer than before as well as the advantages of owning that kind of a ceiling fan.
