Nowadays, asbestos is usually no longer used in Europe due to it health hazardous effect and in most of the countries it is even illegal, thus if your house is new and you believe that you constructor has used all the material that is allowed and he or she did not do anything illegal than you have nothing to worry about. If this is not the case and you are afraid that he or she might have used some materials that have asbestos in it just to spend less money than he or she is charging you than you should ask some specialist to check it.
