A suspended ceiling is in our opinion one of the greatest inventions what comes to ceilings. Here is why – nobody likes electric wires hanging from the ceiling or huge pipes of ventilation and whatnot and sometimes the ceiling is just so hard to work with that it would take ages to even it up and make it worth to look at. The easiest way to cover all these flaws and make the ceiling look like the crown of the room is install a suspended ceiling.
There are many types of suspended ceilings, one of them is an aluminium suspended ceiling, which is becoming more popular every day. The reasons are probably that it is durable – it will not rust, it is light-weight and easy to install. And whatever may come your way – maybe water through the roof – your aluminium ceiling will not be damaged. And, of course, it looks splendid!
Installing a suspended ceiling is easy. The instructions are usually given to you along with the purchase of the ceiling tiles. However, some tips may be useful:
- measure you ceiling;
- always use the right tools – see that you have the relevant hardware before you begin installing the ceiling;
- The tiles should not be placed too low, as it may make the room feel depressive and small;
- If you are planning to install lights in the ceiling, decide where and how many before installing the tiles as the holes for the lamps must be cut beforehand;
