How do I clean my popcorn ceiling, acoustic?

Boggles the mind. I have used the brushes with flared bristles made for cleaning ceiling fan blades to dust the popcorn ceiling. Make certain brush is clean before beginning. If not clean, wash in a bath or sudsy water, rinse and let dry completely.
To get to cobwebs, tap the cobweb and it should come loose. Avoid tapping the brush into the ceiling. The cobweb will only stick if you allow brush to touch the ceiling surface.
I have a vaulted ceiling, so an extendable brush is perfect for this use.
