What would be the best task lighting in a room with ceilings that reach 28 ft. at the peak? It would seem difficult to change bulbs, clean, etc. anything up so high. Also, what is the best way to heat/cool such a room considering the height.

to light the peak is quite a tricky job but what you can do is to install spot lights on the walls that could turn towards the peak of the room. that way, the peak will be illuminated. cooling and heating depends on the insulation installed. make sure the room is properly insulated.
