How to strengthen an existing lowered ceiling.
I am currently installing sound proof plasterboards to an existing lowered ceiling and would like to know how to strengthen the exisiting lowered ceiling to enable the sound proof plasterboard to be attached safely.

you must first be sure that the existing framework is able to sustain that kind of weight if it can then you can get additional wire and attach the wire to eyebolt screws that screw right in to ceiling these eyebolt screws can be found at home depot or lowes and are easy to use you just use a drill and with the special bit screw them into the cieling then loop the wire into them use as many as you need to get the proper support for your project
