we have an attic room. the ceiling is an apex with the joists currently clad in plasterboard and artexed over. cracks have appeared and follow the joints in the plasterboard. we are advised that this is due to fluctuations in temperature which causes the plasterboard to flex. we are looking for a ceiling product which looks good without unsightly cracks appearing.........any ideas?

well, you can utilize drywall. it is a much easier ceiling material to work with and is readily available in your local depot shop.
