is there a product that can be placed over cut ends of metal sub-grid to prevent injury to other trades working above ceilings? ie electricians, maintenance.
i am a health & safety advisor working for a machanical & electrical company and have recently had to report a spate of injurys sustained by trades working above ceilings,caused by the sharp ends of various sections of supporting sub-grid.i know that this is not a new problem but i feel that it is about time that a product was developed to eradicate these injurys.perhaps some form of capping which can be placed on the end of the metal once it has been cut? any suggestions or info would be much appreciated.

you can use caps you put on furniture legs. those are readily available in home developments centers.
