ceiling for a damp room
what kind of ceiling is recommended for a 6'x10' room that has a lot of moisture. it has a water heater, water softener and a water tank. the room is partially over a crawl space under the house with a sump pump for accumulated surface water.

first, we must determine where the moisture is coming from. if its coming from inside the room, there must be an exhaust to release the humid air inside the room. if the moisture is coming from the heat generated from the roof, might as well use acoustical ceiling tiles made of fiberglass.
