grid ceilings

is there a ceiling grid that attaches directly to the floor joists above that form the ceiling and leaves enough room for your electrical conduit and water pipes?
i have looked at ceilingmax and ceilinglink, but they do not allow any space.

you can design your own ceiling grid or drop ceiling and have some space between your main ceiling and your drop ceiling. the ceiling systems you mention maximizes space thus they do away with the plenum. call your local contractor for the best design for your drop ceiling.
