what to do with 7 ft ceiling

i just purchased a house in florida that has 7 ft ceilings. what options would i have to raise the ceiling height. i was thinging the beams might be able to be modified fro a trey ceiling. any suggestios?

the height of the ceiling cannot be increased as it is designed as it is and changing it requires changing the overall design of the house or building. unless you have a suspended ceiling which you can remove and expose the original ceiling.
