matching paint sheen

i moved into a new house and the walls are a smooth finish. i have tried to match to color which i think i have been sucessfull at but the sheen is off. the walls a flat finish but i can't seem to buy a paint that is "flat" enough to match. any suggestions? the house it about a year old.
