what ceiling textured finish hides flaws the best and do i just use drywall mud thinned with paint to texture?
i have a poured cement cieling and walls home with plenty of deep flaws. im wondering what mud texture would be best at hiding these flaws (knockdown, orange peel, stomped, ext..)? can i put on more than one layer of mud or topping compound? do i just use regular mud thinned with a gallon of paint? i can really usa any help you can give me. thanks

i suggest you use combinations of textures. the design is variable thus there is no uniformity in it thus it will be mainly based on your eye. you can put more than one layer but be sure that the first layer had totally dried out before applying the second layer.
