how can I smooth a cottage cheese ceiling
I want to get rid of the cottage cheese ceiling and make it smooth,what method can I use.

if u want to get rid of it...scrape and scrape some more....

if you have the sprayed on cottage cheese stuff you need to scrape it off. get it wet first and then it will come down. if it is textured wall compound you need to apply wall compound over it and smooth it out.
