Keeping the room warm that has a vaulted ceiling?

any trick to warming up a house that has a vaulted ceiling? I resently moved into a house that has a vaulted ceiling I have the heat up to 70 degrees and it is still cold in the house. I don't want an outragous gas bill I can't keep it on 70 all winter. Do you have any advice for me.
