Can armstrong-type ceiling panels be affixed on top of painted popcorn ceiling?
1963 house with popcorn ceilings which have been painted. Would rather cover them than remove them. If panels are applied, this would need to take place in an L-shaped fashion to include the open kitchen which flows into the living room which continues into a hallway to form the L-shape. If this is a reasonable thing to do, I need to know the best way to apply these panels at the L-shape turning point.
