When should I use gypsum board ceiling tiles vs. fiberglass ceiling tiles?

I have a church that I am taking care of. We have suspended ceiling in most rooms. In our storage locker, we have both gypsum board and fiberglass ceiling tile. Is there a rule of thumb when I want to use either one or are they interchangable.
