ceiling repair

The house is 22 years old. The tape used around the edges of the ceiling, I'm guessing to create a smooth transition from wall to ceiling is falling off. What can be used to reglue it back up. The problem my husband is having is that he can not find a glue with an applicator small enough to fit in the tiny space between the tape and the ceiling itself.

If we were doing the remodel I would take and cut out the places where the tape is loose and take mud compound put it on the wall and ceiling then put new perfatape over it smooth it out and put a light coat of mud over the tape sand lightly and paint. most of the timewhen tape comes loose is because of moisture or cold air so make sure before putting new tape on you check for leaks or air infiltration
