Cathredral ceiling construction

I think I mean cathredral ceiling construction with an interior finish of drywall but matching the underside pitch of the roof trusses. I wanted to find a section thru so I could actually see if the trusses had to be other that standard 2'x4' material in order to insulate between the roof deck and the drywall. Can the truss be build with a different pitch on the underside than the roof deck? Thanks.l
