how to use color on coffer or soffit ceilings
We are remodeling our kitchen. The coffer (soffit??) ceiling has 3 tiers over the counter and has 2 tiers around the rest of the ceiling which includes the eating area. The kitchen is a loft-like room (or great room) open to the living room & dining room, with very little wall space due to windows and doors. we want to use a spice color on the wall where the appliances are and would like to use a complementary color on the ceiling tiers. How many colors? How different from the one wall and then what do we do with the remaing walll?
