ceiling crack
I have a house that is 3 years old with 22 foot ceiling, all along the complete ceiling there is a crack, I tried painters putty, joint compund, etc. but everytime there is a temp. change (I live in Ohio) it re-cracks, its seems to be cracking by a tape line that was not done right, my question is how can I fix this problem without spending 400.00 a plaster company wants. Thank you

why is there cracking along the ceiling line only. this is the first winter with heating on in the house. it is progressively getting worse. is it due to the use of damp timber?
